How it works?
The application process happens in three stages.
- You complete the online application, providing detailed information about your experience, qualifications, business activities, online presence along with photos representative of your work. There is a non-refundable fee of $25 + GST to submit your application.
- We complete a review of your application to determine whether your work appears to be of good quality, has a distinctive aesthetic and your business appears to have sufficient presence and capacity to meet our supply and sales objectives. If you pass this stage you will be invited to submit physical examples of your work.
- We will evaluate your submitted work for technical and aesthetic quality and schedule an online interview with our management team to discuss what to expect if you become a member and to answer any questions you may have. If you pass this stage you will enter the onboarding process. If you are not successful you will receive a letter with an explanation outlining why you were not accepted.
If your application is successful you will be accepted for a one year probationary membership. During this time, the consistency and quality of your work, as well as your ability to meet supply and sales expectations, will be evaluated. The expectations for success in your probationary year will be articulated during your interview.
Who will be evaluating my work during the jury process?
Your work will be evaluated by our Selections Committee, which consists of experienced artists and professionals in the field of fine craft. They bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the jury process to ensure fair and thorough evaluation.
